elevate won a competition to design a fully flexible “Agile Technology” working environment using a similar workstyle to the Spotify model embraced by the ASB Technology team.

New mobile & folding furniture was developed to support the technology while giving Tribes the flexibility to disperse and regroup as the Squads require. A matrix of hanging power & data allow staff to plug-n-play anywhere in the space. Large areas are allocated to Scrum zones to allow for regular project “health checks” and the re-assigning of targets. A range of whiteboard formats from large thinking walls down to individual squad whiteboards were provided to allow the visual expression of each project and a range of collaborative furniture was integrated into the planning.

A new dynamic large format hex-patterned carpet tile was introduced and existing walls were refreshed with 3-toned painted angled graphics. The social space was extended to include a decked area under the street trees for greater collaboration options.
